Stuart McKirdy is the medical director at Purple medical Clinic.
He went to medical school at St Andrews University, and Manchester University and qualified as a doctor in 1994. He commenced his basic surgical training in 1995 and qualified as a plastic surgeon in 2006 obtaining a fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery in Edinburgh (FRCS (Plast). This qualification confirms that he has had training and been successfully examined in all aspects of Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgery. As a result he is on the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register for plastic surgery and is employed as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the NHS at the Royal Preston Hospital and Royal Lancaster Infirmary. He is also a member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS).
During his surgical training he undertook a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) 2 year research degree looking at methods of controlling and improving wound healing and scarring. He has written and presented work internationally and this subject continues to be a major interest.
Lindsey McKirdy is the registered clinic manager and a Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Nurse Specialist with over 30 years experience in both the NHS and the private sector. She is educated to Masters level and she has been carrying out injectable treatments for over 17 years. She prides herself on providing information and allows the patient time to make decisions about suggested treatment plans.
Rachel is a qualified registered Nurse with over 11 years experience, she has a specialist interest in skin care and health, and ensures that she remains up to date with relevant training. Rachel carries out skincare consultations, in order to tailor bespoke treatments and skincare products for our patients.
Hannah is the clinic administrator and helps run the day to day organisation of the clinic. Hannah will be on the end of the phone to answer any queries and make treatment bookings.
